Improving the Training of Primary Care Providers in the Treatment of Alcohol Use Disorders

Alcohol dependence is the fourth leading cause of disability worldwide, yet no more than 15% of individuals with AUD are actively engaged in treatment.  The goal of this investigation is to develop strategies that improve the training of primary care providers and clinical staff on the treatment of alcohol use disorders.
