This guide is a step-by-step approach, designed to support clinics as they independently implement effective, guideline-driven care for their patients with chronic pain who are using opioid therapy. 

Practice Based Research Networks are groups of primary care clinicians and practices working together to answer community-based health care questions and translate research findings into practice. PBRNs engage clinicians in quality improvement activities and an evidence-based culture in primary care practice to improve the health of all Americans.

The University of Florida Lastinger Center was engaged by the Florida Legislature through Specific Appropriation 143 to conduct a study on the current trauma-informed care training available in the State of Florida.
